Fifteen Days In: Gentle Easy Detox


How are you doing 15 days in? Did you land on your word or phrase for the year yet? Are you doing good things for your body—or at least learning how to listen to it a little more closely?

I’ll be honest: my first 15 days have been a bit rough. Many of you know that from my last post. And yet, somehow, I feel deeply optimistic. Hopeful. Expectant. I can’t help but believe that God has good things ahead, even when the road starts uneven.

Right now, I’m being very gentle with my body—and that includes how I’m thinking about detoxing. Not harsh cleanses. Not extremes. Just supportive, nourishing care.


A Detox That Works With Your Body

I’m using a detox from Designs for Health because it doesn’t require me to overhaul my diet or stress my system. I simply add in chocolate shakes, and the rest works quietly in the background.


Rather than forcing a cleanse, this approach supports both Phase I and Phase II detoxification with real nutrition. It’s designed for seasonal resets, weight-management seasons, or times when our bodies are carrying a little extra environmental stress. I love that it encourages the safe clearance of what doesn’t belong—while still feeding the body what it needs.
