One Thing Good For You Today

Hey this doesn't have to be so hard. You might not do everything right today and in fact you may feel like you're failing at most things, but let me be the first to give you the grace you deserve. Decide that you will do one thing thats good for you today even if everything else seems to be falling apart. And to make it easy, I've even got a list of things for you to pick from. ( I love lists, I love crossing off lists, I love sharing lists, lists are my love language!)  1) Go to be earlier. 2) Have three servings of veggies before 3. 3) Drink half your body weight in ounces of water today (& nothing sugary or fake!) 4) Meditate/pray for 5 minutes. 5) Read the bible, devotional, scriptures for 10 minutes. 6) Help someone. 7) Go for a 10 minute walk.

Guys, these aren't hard. And you only need to do one! (Although I do all of them and its not as hard as it seems.) But they are each so beneficial to your heart and mind and body. Please don't give up on yourself just because you didn't get in an hour work out and you ate donuts for breakfast or you sat in the closet and cried after paying the bills, or you said something less then kind to another human. It's not all or nothing! Forgive yourself and move on. This practice of doing one good thing for yourself each day will become a habit, then a way of life and before you know it, you will be loving yourself like our Lord does.
